During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Vaccine Preventable Disease Control Program (LAC DPH VPDCP) recommend that immunizing the youngest children and pregnant women, remain a top priority in the context of well child care, prenatal care and community health. Whenever possible, scheduled appointments for routine childhood immunizations and for pregnant women should not be deferred or canceled.
