Previously known as the Regional Training and Medical Consultation Centers (RTMCCs), the TB Centers of Excellence (TB COE) will provide support to domestic TB control and prevention efforts. The TB COE’s focus on two main activities within their assigned regions: (1) increasing human resource development through education and training activities and (2) increasing the capacity for appropriate medical evaluation and management of persons with TB disease and TB infection through medical consultation.
