Tuberculosis Control Program - About Us
Vision:
Tuberculosis is eliminated from Los Angeles County.
Mission:
To prevent the transmission of tuberculosis within Los Angeles County.
About:
The Tuberculosis (TB) Control Program is an administrative office that receives reports of TB suspects and cases
in Los Angeles County (excluding Long Beach and Pasadena). Clinical care for TB is provided at one of the eleven Los Angeles County District Public
Health Centers or through private medical providers. TB consultative and educational services are available through the medical and nursing specialists
located in the program office.
