California Code of Regulations

	Reportable Diseases and Conditions Title 17, California Code of Regulations (CCR), 2500 CCR 2500 requires health care providers to report any of the listed diseases and conditions to the local health officer.

	Reportable Conditions: Notification by Laboratories Title 17, CCR 2505 CCR 2505 requires laboratories to report laboratory testing results suggestive of the diseases listed to the local health department.

	Updates to Title 17, Section 2505 This letter outlines the changes and updates to Title 17, section 2505, of the CA Code of Regulations, which went into effect on October 1, 2019.

	Aerosol Transmissible Diseases Title 8, CCR 5199 CCR 5100 outlines the California Occupational Safety and Health Administrations (Cal/OSHA) regulations involving the capture, sampling, or transportation of wildlife operations involving sampling, cultures, or other materials potentially containing zoonotic aerosol transmissible pathogens.
