The Los
Angeles County
Department of
Public Health
(Public Health) is now
accepting
applications
to serve on next
cohort of the
Community
Prevention and
Population
Health Task
Force (Task
Force). Members
will serve a
three-year term
from June 1,
2025 – May 31,
2028.
The Task Force,
established by
the Los Angeles
County Board of
Supervisors
(Board), is
responsible for
promoting
health, equity
and community
well-being in
Los Angeles
County by making
recommendations
to the Board and
the Department
of Public Health
on population
health
priorities,
initiatives and
practices that
will achieve
health equity
and healthy
communities.
Please note: the
Task Force
values diversity
in experience
and as such, you
are not required
to hold a senior
level position
in an
organization to
serve on the
Task Force.
Employees of the
County of Los
Angeles are NOT
eligible to
serve on the
