Note: Los Angeles County * data is analyzed using a race/ethnicity variable
with five categories: Hispanic, White, Black, Asian, and Other. In these tables,
the category “Hispanic” refers to persons of Hispanic origin (ethnicity) from
any race; the category “White” refers to White, non-Hispanic; the category
“Black” refers to Black, non-Hispanic; the category “Asian” refers to
Asian/Pacific Islander; the category “Other” refers to Native American/Alaskan
Native.
Los Angeles County tuberculosis data excludes those persons living in the
Cities of Long Beach and Pasadena, which are under the health jurisdictions of
the City of Long Beach Health Department and the
City of Pasadena Public Health Department, respectively.
