Welcome to the Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) webpage! Are you interested in a rewarding career in one of the most dynamic and fastest growing healthcare fields? The Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) offers individuals an opportunity to become a certified-eligible Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor while gaining practical in-the-field experience. GOAL: To expand quality employment opportunities that build upon an individual's unique lived experience, while increasing the availability of registered and certified SUD counselors, who can support effective, long-term recovery for those affected by substance use in Los Angeles County. LEARN ABOUT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS TIP offers an accelerated, six-month SUD Counselor Certification Program that is operated by Tarzana Treatment Centers College (TTCC) and includes 255 supervised internship hours with an organization in Los Angeles County experienced at guiding candidates through fieldwork. TIP participants will also have opportunities to connect with potential employment in the Los Angeles SUD Treatment Network. Benefits of Becoming a TIP Participant:
