Integration Unit

The Integration Unit directs and facilitates the integration and coordination of efforts across the Department of Public Health to achieve goals that are strategic and aligned with Public Health's mission.

Specific activities and projects include:

  • Assessing and analyzing systems to facilitate the implementation of strategies that will promote efficiency and harmony in service delivery across Public Health programs.

  • Coordinating, developing, and implementing department-wide initiatives that are responsive to the needs and requests of LA County residents and stakeholders.

  • Promoting collaboration among Public Health divisions and programs, other County departments and government entities, and private sector partners, including community organizations and residents, to design and implement integrated strategies that improve health outcomes and eliminate health inequities.

  • Supporting the implementation of Just Culture across Public Health to promote a workplace environment of fairness, kindness, and respect.
