Our Purpose and Commitment
About Us
Nutrition Access LA is a multi-sector coalition made up of partners from government,
community-based organizations, advocacy, health care, school
districts and other sectors working collaboratively to
ensure all people in Los Angeles County have access to
sufficient, nutritious, and affordable food.

Mission
To ensure that people who are vulnerable in Los Angeles County have sufficient, nutritious, and affordable food through policy changes and organizational/institutional capacity building.
Vision
A food and nutrition secure Los Angeles County.
Goals
- Educate community members on how to navigate nutrition assistance programs and other nutrition and food resources.
- Inform partner organizations on food and nutrition insecurity, nutrition assistance programs, food and nutrition policy and other nutrition and food resources.
- Advance food and nutrition policy related to nutrition insecurity, food assistance programs and other nutrition and food resources.
- Increase coordination and collaboration among Nutrition Access LA member organizations, including healthcare, community-based organizations, non-profits, and government agencies.

These fact sheets are available in both English and Spanish. They can be co-branded with your organization’s logo. Word and PDF versions are available to download below.
