The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, in collaboration with the LA County Wildfire Recovery Health and Social Services Task Force, developed a rapid needs assessment for residents who live or lived in the Palisades or Eaton Fire-impacted areas.
The survey was distributed electronically by Los Angeles County government agencies, including the Board of Supervisors and the Department of Public Health, as well as partner organizations in the LA County Wildfire Recovery Health and Social Services Task Force. The assessment was designed to identify the recovery needs of wildfire-affected communities and help guide esources toward the most critical priorities identified by residents. The survey was open from February 19 through March 10, 2025 and was available in English, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Korean, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
Virtual Townhalls Recordings
As part of the recovery process, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and partners hosted virtual townhalls to keep residents in fire-impacted communities informed about recovery efforts, available resources, post-fire assessment activities, and ways to protect health.
