The Drinking Water Program is responsible for regulating small water systems pursuant to state laws and regulations. This includes processing applications and issuing permits for Non-Production Wells, and collecting water samples from small water systems to monitor the levels of bacteria, chemicals, and other elements set forth in the State Drinking Water Standards.
