Los Angeles County Domestic Violence Coalition

The Los Angeles County Domestic Violence Coalition is an inclusive body that advances a Public Health framework to educate on, prevent, and mitigate the harm of domestic violence (DV) in Los Angeles County.

The mission of the Coalition – a collective of survivors, DV advocates, DV service providers, and system leaders – is to advance the common goal of a victim/survivor-centered, trauma informed, culturally relevant, and coordinated approach to educate about, prevent, and respond to DV in Los Angeles County.

The Coalition envisions that DV is treated as a public health issue, that survivors receive support holistically, and that residents of Los Angeles County can live free from DV.

NOTE: The Domestic Violence Coalition does not provide direct services. If you need services or support, please call the LA County DV Hotline at 800-978-3600 to reach a domestic violence agency that can help you (see information on the sidebar to the right). Also see more resources on the Hotlines & Resources page or download the Reaching Out Booklet here. If you have further questions, please contact us at dvc@ph.lacounty.gov .
