Doing Business with DHSP

General Solicitations Information:

DHSP procures services for HIV and STD prevention and care services for Los Angeles County residents through a solicitations process. This process can take many months to complete, beginning with the planning of the new or updated services within DHSP to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors' approval of final contracts. The length of the process is dependent on many factors, including the solicitation type and the range of services that need to be purchased, There are different types of solicitations that are released by Los Angeles County.
The three most common types are:

Request for Proposals (RFP);

Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ); and

Invitation for Bids (IFB)

If you are interested in doing business (i.e. contracting) with the County of Los Angeles, you must be a registered vendor with the County. Please visit Internal Services Department (ISD) and DPH Open Solicitations to register and obtain more information on the solicitations process.
